Want guided support? Try Impossible to Possible Coaching
Playfulness and excitement are not childish things, they are the very conditions under which the impossible becomes possible. A positive mind, an open heart, and a genuine belief in yourself create a frequency the universe recognizes and responds to. There is something quietly powerful about allowing yourself to stay in a mindset of play, to let excitement be your compass rather than doubt. When we approach the unknown the way a child approaches a new room, with wide eyes and no end to what might be possible, the impossible begins to lose its edges. A child doesn't negotiate with wonder. They simply feel it, follow it, and trust it completely. When we bring that same openness into our own experience, paired with a genuine belief in ourselves and a positive, receptive heart, something shifts. The universe we inhabit responds to that frequency. It begins to show us what it is truly capable of, and what we are truly capable of within it. There are no limits in that space. Only endless, unfolding possibility.

Getting yourself out of your head and relaxing is important. When you are tense you are worrying. I have seen people stick objects to the wall by pretending they are spiderman. Play somehow works, it engages our imagination, heart and sense of wonder. I think wonder tells your brain to pay attention and record a new pattern.

It all started for me with a meditation practice led by Zenka, which involved using the white light method. This technique uses your mind to visualize and feel a powerful energy, such as love or a bright, luminescent white light, either above your head, at your crown, or flowing through your body. This visualization was the method I used, and it was the same method my son used. The results were almost immediate for both of us. I believe this success was partly because I had no preconceived notions about what to expect. Moreover, my son was right beside me, and his excitement mirrored mine. Even though neither of us knew what to expect, we were both enthusiastic about the experience. This childlike excitement added to the overall success. The combination of not having any preconceived ideas and approaching the practice with genuine excitement made the experience both fun and spiritually fulfilling.

Attending a Spoon Bending party creates the setting for success.

I'm someone who's able to let go of circumstances while being in the moment, so when Zenka Caro first introduced me to spoon bending and guided us through the process of elevating our excitement in order to get out of our heads, my playful, childlike nature was 100% on board with that idea. I enjoy using activities to divert my attention from the mundaneness of everyday life, and being that this was a spoon bending "party" I found it very easy to play along and enjoy myself without placing complicated expectations on the results.
