It all started for me with a meditation practice led by Zenka, which involved using the white light method. This technique uses your mind to visualize and feel a powerful energy, such as love or a bright, luminescent white light, either above your head, at your crown, or flowing through your body. This visualization was the method I used, and it was the same method my son used. The results were almost immediate for both of us. I believe this success was partly because I had no preconceived notions about what to expect. Moreover, my son was right beside me, and his excitement mirrored mine. Even though neither of us knew what to expect, we were both enthusiastic about the experience. This childlike excitement added to the overall success. The combination of not having any preconceived ideas and approaching the practice with genuine excitement made the experience both fun and spiritually fulfilling.

Anytime we host a spoon bending party on LightNet we always start the group off with a moment to drop in and set the tone with a meditation. There's no wrong way to do this so long as you feel - by the end of it, more connected to your version of source god and the etheric unlimited power of the cosmos. My meditation when I come up to bat sounds something like this. "Let's begin by opening our chakras, root to crown-" Pause a moment or guide through saying each chakra. "Now lets come into alignment with the cosmic center galactic sun, feeling the beams of diamond light energy channel through our crown and down through to our root." Pausing to feel that energy. "Let this beam pulse through your root into the earth all the way to earth's core, where it anchors this energy and comes back up through your being." Pause to feel. "Now lets feel this energy begin to collect and swell in our heart chakra." Pause one last time. "and finally, let channel all this energy through our arm (the one holding your spoon out in front of you) and focus it into the point we'll be bending today" finishing off with our "BEND BEND BEND, LET IT GO" Chant! And there you have it!
